Most office phone systems come with basic PBX functions like call routing, parking, on-hold and line-hunt.  But when you want the extra features like auto-attendants, voicemail, internet telephony and IP handsets, there’s usually an extra cost attached. 

What started out as a cheap phone system quickly escalates into an expensive and complex system that only the supplier can maintain.  Each time you want to make a change, you need to call in the original vendor and pay hourly rates that you are locked into.

Introducing TalkSwitch

We are very proud to announce the TalkSwitch VS Series of PBX phone systems!  Starting with a simple 2-line, 4-handset unit (VS240), it connects to 2 existing analogue phone lines, and up to 4 normal analogue telephones (or fax/modems), so you can get your business up & running right away. 

Other models such as the VS248 include up to 8 Voice over IP lines, so you can take advantage of cheap internet telephony services, or connect multiple branch offices via the internet.  You can even have an IP phone connected to your switchboard from any internet connection in the world and dial as if you were using it in your office.

Both of these models allow you to connect up to 16 IP handsets, which use your existing network instead of dedicated telephone cabling.

Standard features in the TalkSwitch VS series include at no additional cost:

• Auto-attendants (welcome to xxx – press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts, etc)
• Voicemail – individual and group voice mailboxes
• Caller ID and Distinct Ring (Telstra FaxStream) call routing
• Can be programmed via a Windows-based application, or from handsets
• Compatible with all analogue phones & lines (Telstra, Optus)
• Compatible with standard IP handsets (Cisco, Microsoft, Polycom)
• Easily upgradeable to more lines/handsets
• Combine 4 PBX units for up to 32 analogue lines, 32 internet lines, and 64 handsets*
